The Town of Elizabethtown and the Curtis L. Brown, Jr. Field Airport will be hosting two aviation summer camps in June. The first camp will be from June 5th through June 8th, and the second camp will be from June 26th through June 29th. The camps will be for grades 5 through 9 and will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be no charge for this camp, hosted on Curtis Brown Field.
The Town is hosting the event with corporate sponsors; Campbell Oil Company, Sovereign Air, and the North Carolina Department of Aviation.

Navigation
Weather
Aircraft Maintenance
Flight Characteristics
Drone Flight Rules
Drone Navigation
Future Aviation Job Opportunities
Helicopter Familiarization
Air Traffic Control System
The week will be fun for the students with excellent instructors currently in the aviation industry. The student will have a good understanding of fixed, rotary wing with hands-on opportunities to fly drones. Camps are limited to 30 students per session, so sign up soon!
